An active P. & C. Association is in operation. The P. & C. runs its term over a 12 month period from January to December. Membership is open to all community members over the age of 18 years. The executive consists of President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. The P. & C. works closely with the school with significant input into the direction of the school and funds identified for educational projects.
The P. & C. meets in the Library at 7.30pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, February to November.
Our second Orientation Day, for students beginning at Flagstone Creek State School in 2010, will be held on Wednesday, 2 December, from 9.00am to 12.30pm.
Flagstone Creek State School has received an Excellence in Education 2009 Award from the Australian College of Educators (Darling Downs Region) for its program, InnovativeSchool Community Learning in a Digital World.
